into your profile ( MyRetailOptions ) or email your request to contact@retailoptions.co.uk
Information forwarded to any third party will only be done if agreed by a
visitor, unless it is deemed that this information may not comply with the
law or may be of a threatening nature to Retail Options Limited employees,
members of the public or third party employees.
Collecting Information
i) Your Profile ( MyRetailOptions) and CV Information: Any information that you give throughout the registration process
is stored by Retail Options Ltd and will be accessible by Retail Options Limited
employees only. On registering your details and CV, all information submitted
will be made available to the client companies of Retail Options Limited for
searching, matching, viewing and downloading. Client companies that have searched
the database for information matching that supplied by any site visitor (candidate,
job seeker) can be sent that information via email directly so that they can
contact selected visitors (candidates, job seekers).
Clients include direct client company recruiters, employment consultancies
and other employment bodies.
In registering your details, you are consenting to R etail O ptions Limited
occasionally using the data stored to identify visitor (candidate, jobseeker)
trends, such as experience/skill levels, salary scales and other information
of a demographic nature. This data will never be related to any personally
identifiable information about you the visitor (candidate, jobseeker) however.
When you agree to submit your personal information and upload your CV, you
are fully responsibility for taking the time to keep them up-to-date. Please
consider updating your MyRetailOptions and CV in six month intervals, especially
salary, contact numbers and location details. Every so often we will email
you with a reminder to update the MyRetailOptions profile or indeed give you
the option to de-register.
Retail Options Limited reserves the right to remove any details from our database
that include any content that we consider to be illegal or offensive. Please
note that we do not guarantee that our protection methods will ensure that
the application, CV or any file uploaded does not include:
False, inaccurate or misleading information;
Material that infringes third party's Intellectual Property Rights;
Defamatory, libellous or otherwise unlawful information;
Information that may violate any law, statute, regulation or
order (including, without limitation, those concerning consumer protection,
unfair competition, anti-discrimination or the advertising prohibited goods
or services); or
Any virus, worm, trojan horse, time bomb, cancelbot or other
code that contains contaminating or destructive properties.
PLEASE BE AWARE: Your employer may be a client company
of Retail Options Limited, or a client of one of our consultancy customers
and they will have access to view all candidate/ job seeker details searched
for in our database. Instantly they will be aware that you are considering
leaving your current job which may in some circumstances compromise your
position. Retail Options Limited cannot be held responsible for
any possible event that may arise as a result of this.
ii) Jobs by Email:
The Jobs By Email is designed to match a candidate's requirements to jobs
that are advertised on the Retail Options site with regard to the profile matches
of the job and the candidate. You will be emailed on a regular basis as jobs
are added that match YOUR requirements. All information listed on the Jobs
By Email service is strictly confidential and may be viewed only by the employees
of Retail Options Limited. We will only use your email address for sending
requested information provided by you in relation to jobs advertised. We may
from time to time use this information to collate statistical information for
third parties or business partners with regard to number of visitors in a particular
geographic area, job type, and sector or salary bands. At no time will this
information disclose the identity of a candidate/job seeker.
iii) Cookies:
Cookies are pieces of computer code that a website provides to you through
the web browser, these cookies are NOT destructive code or .exe files that
can damage your computer. Cookies from Retail Options Limited website will
be utilised to give us information about our users and the information you
provided. They are a 'speed up' tool for you with regard to login username,
email address, passwords etc. that will make your experience of using the site
better. The cookies we place on your computer contain no code/info that will
personally identify you to anyone else other than Retail Options Limited.
Cookies DO NOT damage your computer in any way (hardware or software) they
simply increase the amount of information that the site holds about you and
enhances you browsing experience. The site uses the cookie stored on your computer
when you sign up to the Jobs By Email service enabling you to shortlist vacancies
and preferences
iv) Statistical information: Retail Options Limited provides various statistical information about
site visitors and users to recruiters (such as the number of CVs in our database,
the number of subscribers in our Jobs By Email database and also numerical
information on the number of visitors that Retail Options Limited has had in
any given period). This information is provided to advertisers, suppliers,
clients and other reputable third parties and does not include anything that
will personally identify candidates/jobseekers.
v) Links to other sites/companies:
Retail Options Limited contains links to other websites. We constantly check
to make sure that these links are live and that they don't contain adult
or offensive content, however we cannot guarantee the content of such links.
We cannot take responsibility for external websites and advise all users
to read the privacy policy of all individual sites visited after leaving
Retail Options Limited site as a result of a link from our site. Our statement
only refers to information that is contained on www.retailoptions.co.uk
vi) Applications: All information provided via an application will only be viewable
by companies and Retail Options Limited employees. Information is not passed
onto third parties or the general public.
