How to advertise with Retail Options

Any references to "we" or "us" or "our" or "the company" are references to Retail Options Limited.

This document sets out the (the "Terms and Conditions") under which you may use RetailOptions.co.uk (the "Web Site"). You are encouraged to take some time to read this document carefully and ensure you are able to agree to the T's & C's set out within. We have endeavoured to make this document as straight forward and free of jargon as possible for the benefit of you, the candidate or client. If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions stated here, do not use this Web Site and service. If you do not understand any of the T's &C's within this document please contact us so that you can proceed. Once you have decided to use the RetailOptions.co.uk web site, you are agreeing to theses terms & conditions and are bound by these terms & conditions.

Candidate Registration
Candidates are encouraged to register their details accurately and with total honesty when stating current/past salary, experience and ability. Your details will potentially be visible to your current employer; you will indemnify the company should this compromise you in any way and agree that no claim be made against us. Please refer to the privacy policy http://retailoptions.co.uk/privacypolicy.htm There is no financial charge for candidate registration. You are solely responsible for the content of your registered details and CV. Any use of offensive, foul or abusive language/text will be deemed a breach of these terms and conditions and WILL result in your registration being withdrawn.

User Name & Password
During the registration process you will decide on a user name and password. These details are kept on our database and can be easily retrieved from our servers should you forget your details. Simply click on the 'forgotten password' link for retrieval and your details will be emailed immediately.
Client account holders are strictly forbidden to allow user name and password details to be given to a third party company or individual not employed by the client company account holder. Any unauthorised access will be in total breach of these terms and conditions and may result in the agreement being terminated. Any third party found gaining unauthorised access to the web site will be invoiced at full rate and is payable immediately.

Advertising with RetailOptions.co.uk
Any company or organisation advertising with the web site is bound by these terms and conditions of business and with those that accompany the advertising agreement signed by an authorised signatory at the time of account activation.

Advertising agreements form a contract between RetailOptions.co.uk and you the client, all advertising agreements must be signed and dated with a hard copy to be retained for your reference. Payment is strictly 30 days net from invoice date, we reserve the right to remove any adverts placed in the event of non-payment and your account will be put on hold until all monies are cleared. In extreme circumstances we reserve the right to terminate the agreement. Should you wish to cancel your contract with us and are on a long term contract we will deem the end date to be one month after the end of the month the cancellation notice was served in writing to the Account Manager at Retail Options Limited.
Retail Options Limited will take the opportunity to credit check all client companies that wish to advertise with us, in some cases we may request cleared funds within 5 working days of your account being activated.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all job ads are accurate; the copy is legal and complies with all codes of practise and UK/EU legislation. This applies to all advertisers including recruitment consultancies alike. All job postings must be current live vacancies; you are not permitted to advertise on a speculative basis to attract candidates for 'talent banks'. Retail Options Limited reserves the right to remove/exclude any ads that do not comply with current legislation or that are deemed to be rude, offensive, inflammatory or inappropriate. All candidates should be responded to in an appropriate business manner and not bring the name of Retail Options Limited or RetailOptions.co.uk into disrepute. All complaints will be taken seriously and may result in permanent exclusion from using this site. You agree to indemnify Retail Options Limited should an individual make a claim as a result of non compliance with these terms and conditions.

There is no guaranteed response when advertising with any job board or recruitment web site & RetailOptions.co.uk are unable to guarantee or warrant the quality, quantity or suitability of respondents and it is therefore the responsibility of the recruiter to check the suitability of applicants for the positions advertised.

Service Availability
Retail Options Limited promises to do it's very best to ensure the site is available 24 hours of every day of the year. In exceptional circumstances the site may be unavailable due to technical upgrades. Any upgrade work undertaken by ourselves will be done outside of 'normal' business hours in order to minimise any effect on the web site. Some faults that occur may be out of our control and we shall not accept any financial liability. We will always endeavour to correct all and any problems and expedite solutions as quickly as possible.

Web Links
You are permitted to display links to your company web pages related to recruitment and vacancies, it will be the responsibility of the client to maintain these links and ensure they point to the correct pages. Any links that do not fall into this category will be removed. We accept no responsibility for the content of any link and you will indemnify us of any claim made.

Number Of Vacancies Displayed
Until further notice, Retail Options will not place a limit on the number of vacancies a client wishes to advertise. All vacancies will remain 'Live' and viewable by candidates until made 'Dead' by the client.

Use Of The CV Search Facility (CV DATABASE)
Every client company who has a contract with Retail Options Limited is granted access to the candidate CV database solely for the purposes of assisting them in finding a new job role. It will be considered a breach of these terms of business if a client uses the database for any other marketing activities. The CV database remains the property of Retail Options at all times.

Notification of Changes
Retail Options reserve the right to change our Terms & Conditions at any time and to publish these changes on our website.
